Maintaining Your Audi

Your Audi will advise when your vehicle is due for its next service (either every 12 months or at 15,000km).

We recommend maintaining your vehicle between scheduled servicing intervals by checking oil levels, tyre pressures and regularly cleaning your vehicle. This ensures the preservation of the vehicle’s residual value and that it is always at peak performance.

Service work conducted by an Approved Audi Service Centre guarantees that the servicing is at the highest standard. With new technology introduced by Audi, service technicians with the assistance of the Audi diagnostic tester will ensure to retain the quality of your vehicle.

The following maintenance tips can be checked at home or conducted by your Audi Service Centre.

tyre-pressure

Tyre Pressure

Tyre pressures should always be at the correct level as stated in your owner’s handbook. Maintaining tyre pressures to their intended levels is a critical component in sustaining the safety and integrity of your vehicle.

Tyre-Condition

Tyre Condition

At each service, we check your tyre condition. However, if you do high mileage between servicing, you should also check that the tyres have adequate tread. If in doubt, contact your Audi Service Centre.

engine oil level

Engine Oil Level

We will always check your oil levels when we service your vehicle, but always ensure that your oil levels are correct if you do high mileage in between servicing. When you require more oil, your car will advise you by flashing "oil can" light on your dashboard. You can check these levels yourself or drop into your Authorised Centre.

Windscreen Wipers

Windscreen Wipers

Check you always have enough water for your windscreen washers and add a bug repellent into the water to ensure a clean windscreen with every wash. Also, check that the blades have not worn as this can have the effect of scratching your windscreen.
