Frequently Asked Questions

How do order an Owner’s Manual for my vehicle?
You can order an Owner's Manual specific to your vehicle by supplying the vehicle's VIN number to your local Audi dealer. In addition, Owner's Manuals from model year 2009 and onwards can be read online, on the my.audi.com website.

Please note that for used Audi's from Japan, the Owner's Manual will probably not cover the Stereo or Navigation system.
Does my Audi have Bluetooth compatibility?
If your Audi is a 2011 model year or later then it should have Bluetooth compatibilities.
How do I order a duplicate key for my vehicle?
Because of the anti-theft measures built into each Audi, keys are not available off the shelf. They are unique to each individual vehicle and need to be ordered on a case-by-case basis.

In addition, the new key will need to be adapted to your vehicle by an authorised Audi Service Centre.
How do I get my radio out of safe mode? Where can I find the security code for my radio?
To get your radio out of "SAFE" mode you will need to input the security code into the radio's interface. The security code can be found in the Owner's Manual.

If you are no longer in possession of the vehicle’s Owner's Manual, you will need to book your vehicle into your local Audi dealer for them to obtain this code from the secure database at Audi AG.
How much does a basic service cost?
Please contact your local authorised Audi Service Centre for a service quote.
Where I can find the VIN number on the chassis?
The location of the VIN number can vary depending on what model year your Audi is. A VIN is 17 digit number and can be found in a number of locations:

Lower left of the windscreen (on the registration document), data label in the spare wheel well, on the wheel arches under the bonnet, in the vehicles Service Book or Digital Service Schedule service printouts.
What kind of petrol should I use for my Audi?

Please fill up with 95 Octane as soon as possible afterwards.
