Audi Sport Team JoestLe Mans record holders from the Odenwald
Reinhold Joest’s team is one of the best teams in the history of motorsport endurance racing, and racked up its tenth victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 1984 in 2008, together with Audi.
It achieved six of these ten wins with Audi, not to mention 30 race victories and four championship titles in the American Le Mans Series with the Audi R8.
Audi Sport Team Joest has been a rusted partner of Audi Sport ever since Audi got involved in sports prototypes. Some of its most recent victories of the R15 TDI and R15 TDI plus in Sebring in 2009 and in Le Castellet in 2010. Starting this year, Joest Racing is now also involved in the Audi race experience program with the R8 LMS. The team’s technical director is Ralf Jüttner, who also shares managerial responsibilities at Joest Racing GmbH with Reinhold Joest. The team is based in Wald-Michelbach in the Odenwald region south of Frankfurt.
