Audi is proud to be the official partner in the Louis Vuitton Trophy in 2010. The event was held from 9th to 21st March 2010. We saw eight of the world's best sailing teams go head to head in a regatta match race on Auckland's Waitemata Harbour.
After 13 days of racing, we saw Emirates Team New Zealand take on Mascalzone Latino Audi Team in the final and we saw the home team take it out to win.

Audi proud to be the official vehicle supplier for the New Zealand Fashion Week for the forth consecutive year in 2010. Each year, Fashion Week is a buzz with international fashionistas, celebrities, buyers and journalists, all searching for the latest in progressive design. Each year Audi supplies a fleet of sign-written cars provided for VIP transport. The Audi History Tent was again set up in 2009, to celebrate 100 years of Audi, a new R8 and S5 Cabriolet were put on display, and valet services were provided for the most exclusive guests. On top of this, Audi also provided four female volunteers to “Nail it with Love”, a venture whereby 250 Fashion Week women built an entire house on site, which was then transferred and donated to a family in need. The Audi team assisted with various tasks, such as installing weather boards, roof eaves and interior painting, helping to make this touching community project a success.
Audi has been the main sponsor of the Merto | Audi Restaurant of the year awards for the past two years and will continue to be the main sponsor in 2010.

During March 2010, the Urbis Design Day will be taking place in Auckland. It is a collaboration of leading designers showcasing their works throughout showrooms in Auckland. This is associated with the new Audi A5 Sportback, released February 2010. Urbis, Audi and Richard Naish (Audi Ambassador) did a collaboration together as part of Urbis Design Day in the Ironbank building on K road (see picture to the left).

In July 2009, Cirque du Soleil came to New Zealand with its production, Dralion. At the same time that Audi was having its 100th birthday, Cirque du Soleil was celebrating its 25th. When the world’s most famous, avant-garde performance company toured to New Zealand last year with one of its flagship productions, Dralion, Audi decided to partner with it for some mutual birthday revelry.
The 99,000 audience members who attended Dralion walked past an R8 to enter the venue. They also got to experience the world of Audi through a custom built “History Tent” just outside the main performance arena. The tent showcased Audi’s major achievements over its 100 year history, as well as highlights from Cirque du Soleil’s quarter century, and played host to more than 400 Audi clients over three guest nights. In turn, one Audi dealership displayed some of the extravagant costumes from Dralion in the Audi showroom. And to complete the partnership, a handful of lucky Audi Magazine readers got to experience the show first class, which included a backstage tour, meeting key members of the Cirque team, pre-show VIP treatment and front row seats for the main event.
