Audi New Zealand announced the winners of the Audi Excellence Awards for 2024, with the mighty Waikato - Ebbett Audi - taking the title of Dealer of the Year. 

Greg Leet, General Manager, Audi New Zealand says, "2024 brought its share of economic challenges, but it also underscored the resilience and dedication of our dealer network. After 25 years of Audi Excellence Awards, celebrating last year’s achievements is more meaningful than ever."  

"The Audi Excellence Awards honour those who go above and beyond—delivering exceptional results across customer service, finance, marketing, and, of course, sales. It’s a testament to the passion and commitment that drive our success," added Leet.  

In addition to the Audi Dealer of the Year, Ebbett Audi and its people were named winners in Used Car Sales of the Year (led by Jason Young) and Finance & Insurance (led by Ashley Joblin). The dealership was also a finalist in almost every other category.  

Andrew Unternahrer, Dealer Principal, Ebbett Audi comments, “In a year marked by a number of varying challenges both to the industry and our dealership, I’ve been humbled by the continued dedication to excellence our team has committed themselves to.” 

Ebbett Automotive Director Walter van den Engel also shared his congratulations, describing the result as “outstanding”, given the disruption of relocating and adapting to a new environment. “To take out this award with such high-level performance across the team really speaks to the culture and commitment at Ebbett Audi,” he said.
