Unveiled to the world at the 87th Geneva Motor Show, the all-new RS 5 Coupé has been revealed as the gran turismo among the RS models from Audi Sport. Featuring a new, lighter 2.9 TFSI bi-turbo engine, capable of propelling the car to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and quattro all-wheel drive with optional Sport differential for extraordinary responsiveness, the all-new RS 5 promises a new performance benchmark.
A character in its own right: the new Audi RS 5 Coupé elegantly combines aesthetic appeal with a design idiom that is characteristically RS. The broadened body with flared wheel arches and distinctive sill trims, the RS bumpers with large air inlets at the front and contoured diffuser insert at the rear and the discreet rear spoiler accentuate the athletic exterior. Optional carbon-ceramic brakes with six piston callipers wrapped in 20” alloy wheels further cement the Audi RS 5 Coupé’s antagonistic persona.
Welcome to the control centre. The RS sport seats at the front are an expression of pure sportiness, upholstered in fine nappa leather with honeycomb stitching. The Audi virtual cockpit with special RS displays keeps the driver informed via a razor-sharp 12.3” LCD screen. The RS sport contour leather steering wheel provides a final ergonomic touch to the driver-vehicle interface, with multifunction plus and gear shift paddles. Sitting here means accepting no compromise.
